AUSTIN, TX (April 7, 2023) – South Shore Soccer Club and Trace have joined forces to provide a comprehensive video solution for teams within the club. As the first club in the Staten Island area to adopt Trace club-wide, every player, coach, and parent at South Shore will have complete access to automatic player highlights and performance statistics after each game. With Trace, tracking player progress and accelerating development has never been easier.
Trace is revolutionizing the way that video and statistics are digested and used to enhance player and coaching performance. This innovative video solution automatically records, edits, and organizes highlights for each individual, eliminating the need for traditional video and editing methods.
Here’s everything Trace is bringing to the club:
- Personalized highlights for every player on the team
- Tactical playlists
- Shareable college recruiting profiles with Trace iD
- Player performance metrics
- MultiCam technology to record all angles of the field by smartphone
Apart from the video and statistical analysis features, Trace provides numerous tools and resources that were previously unavailable to the club. These include custom Trace workshops and webinars offering professional insight, and Trace Academy, which offers curated educational content.

"I believe trace will help change coaching at the youth and developmental levels forever. The ability to be able to watch and rewatch highlights and explain tactics to young players using the visual, is something that's going to greatly enhance both the coaching, playing and learning experience.
Simon Ward, U13 Boys Coach and Former English Premier Player
The club's philosophy is simple. They believe that players (from younger children to teens) must enjoy this fantastic game in conjunction with working and training hard. One of their ultimate goals is to assist players to develop not only their game skills but also their “Soccer IQ” as they advance during some of the best years of their lives into high school and college. This partnership perfectly reflects a shared commitment to advancing the skills and abilities of each individual player.

"As a coach and trainer with SSTC, Trace will give me the opportunity to provide detailed analysis on a player's tactical and technical abilities. I'll be more readily able to provide visual feedback and help our players achieve their goals of playing at the high school and collegiate levels"
Vito Cangelosi, Director of Training and 20 year travel coach
South Shore Travel Club joins 200+ clubs in partnering with Trace to provide their players with the best resources for development and college recruitment.
Multicam Technology
With MultiCam from Trace, South Shore parents can record the game on their phones using the Trace app. That footage will sync with the TraceCam footage so that players can see the game from multiple vantage points.
The action around the goal or certain positions can be difficult to see at times. MultiCam gives parents the power to capture angles that showcase their own child in the best light, no matter their position on the field. This enables parents to create ESPN-like highlight reels from any number of angles.
